One-to-one sessions

These include direct intervention sessions with individuals requiring speech, language, or communication evidence-based therapy. Indirect intervention sessions may be recommended to work with other key stakeholders in the individual’s life.

Assessment and report writing

Each intervention journey starts off with an assessment. This may span across 1-3 sessions according to the case. Intervention plans are drawn up, in collaboration with the client and key stakeholders, according to assessment findings.

Dynamic assessment and response to intervention support differential diagnosis. Differential diagnosis may involve other professionals’ opinions according to the case.

Assessment findings, details regarding response to intervention, and relevant recommendations may be presented in a report, upon request, at an additional charge.

Group sessions

Group sessions may run from time to time. Intervention in a group setting has been found to be effective to target a range of challenges related to speech and language production, and social communication. Get in touch to express your interest in our group sessions.

The running of group sessions is highly dependent on the number of individuals who commit to the sessions. Grouping is carried out prior to the running of the sessions, following a short assessment.

School-based sessions

Direct liaison with key stakeholders is fundamental to achieve our intervention goals. We therefore recognise the need for and provide intervention within schools. This helps us interface with their educators, helping the child move forward. This includes involvement in IEP and MAP sessions.

Provision of intervention within the school setting is dependent on the school providing an adequate space for the sessions.

Support groups

Parenting a child with a speech or communication disorder can feel like a lonely journey. It might feel even more difficult when speech/language disorders are combined with other conditions. Support for parents is a crucial component when it comes to parenting children with any type of challenge or disability, and networking can be your safety net when you feel like falling down on the job.

These workshops aim to help adults working with and looking after children understand typical language development their child’s difficulties, and discover ways to support communication skills across all settings.

Family-centred intervention

Evidence is increasingly pointing towards the importance of family-centred intervention in order to achieve intervention goals more effectively. This may be offered via a series of sessions with parents, coupled by home visits. Families will be given guidance on suitable home activities to further the child’s development.
